Our primary mission is to promote family prayer and to minister to the sick in our parish. In addition to this, we act as a support system for church functions such as fund-raising and social events, and playing roles such as sidespersons, organist, councillor, choir member, etc. in the daily functions of the church. This is our parochial involvement. We also function at Diocese and Provincial level, having many of our members serving as delegates or office-bearers outside the local parameters.
We are sometimes seen as a club for the senior males of the church. It is our hope to alter this misconception and encourage the younger men to join, so that the ethic of family prayer can be restored. We believe that the family that prays together, stays together.
